The Institute for Company Lawyers (IBJ, IJE) was established by the law of 1 March 2000 establishing an Institute for Company Lawyers (as amended by the law of 19 May 2010, the law of 14 March 2023 and the law of 7 April 2023), which defines, among other things, the functioning of the Institute, the conditions for becoming a company lawyer and the confidentiality of the advice given by the company lawyer.
